Packing List

WHAT TO BRING

– This is our most asked question.  Bring what you need to do a set of Pink and White nails at your friend’s house.   A table lamp is highly suggested as some rooms are darker than we like to work in (some will be available for sale if you need one), terry cloth table towels if you want them, extension cords, Gel lamp (if you do gels), brushes for product application, implements, liquids needed, forms, files, electric files and product for pink and whites (gel or acrylic). Also bring a cream flat non-sparkle cherry red polish or gel polish.

– You do not need your entire nail table (many will try!!)  You will get LOTS of products to try from your swag bag.    Some classes are hands on and techs in previous years found that a small roll-about suitcase worked very well.

– Come free of nails! That means bare – nothin on them. We know its tough! But you won’t want to be soaking or filing nails off before classes, you wont have time!!  Friday will be a workshop where you will each be doing 4-5 nails on each other – HAVE THAT TECH DO YOUR DOMINATE HAND!   Save the hand you can do easily yourself for competition Saturday so you can work on yourself if needed.   Please don’t come and plan to remove the nails at class, it will really put a delay in the process and you may not be able to finish or it may keep your partner from being able to finish.

-TOWELS – Last year we had to pay to replace camp towels because of lots of fresh dyed hair and makeup that ruined camp towels. Please bring face wet-wipes or your own wash cloths for your face. Also, if your hair is freshly colored, please bring your own towel and pillowcases!!   We want to keep camp affordable and added expenses prohibit that.

WHAT NOT TO BRING
– Alcohol, drugs or weapons

– Products you hope to sell if you are not an educator at the event. Please, NO unauthorized sales. This undermines the educators who come and teach for you – many of whom come paying their own way and are not being paid by any company. They are volunteering their time to help YOU improve your skills.

– You are in a rustic camp setting – not a 5 star resort (can you imagine what that would cost??). There are no blow dryers provided for you, no tv’s in the cabins and no spa to go get a massage at (though I bet you can talk one of your cabin-mates into it!)
